Research Projects Overview
InvoTek has received over three million dollars in Small Business Innovative Research grants for work related to assistive technology for people with disabilities. Over the years, we have narrowed our research emphasis to technologies that address the needs of people who are unable to use natural speech for effective communication. The majority of our research work relates to improved methods for accessing assistive devices such as computers and augmentative communication (AAC) systems.
