In 2010 InvoTek's founder and President Tom Jakobs decided to do something crazy. After two decades of volunteering with a few local clients so that they could achieve goals that were important to them, he decided to formalize the services that seemed to make such a difference to these people and make them available more broadly. Together with the Arkansas Spinal Cord Commission, we created Be Extraordinary™. Be X focuses on providing the comprehensive services needed to achieve a goal instead of just equipment. Tom gives an example of how this process works in the top video on the right. To date (2/2012), over 80% of Be X's 23 clients located across Arkansas and in three other states are either actively working towards their goal or have achieved it.
