About 'Be Extraordinary' »

The Be Extraordinary™ program is a simple but powerful concept. People with a disability contact InvoTek and tell us what they want to accomplish -- go to school, work, manage their family’s finances, take a larger role in their medical care, volunteer, write or read a book, or any number of things. There is nothing too big or small. We determine if we have the technology and services to meet their needs. If so, we ask them to send us a short video so we can get to know them. While the video team puts together their story, our engineers will design a specific plan to help them meet their goal. After they review the plan and approve the video, we’ll add the story to the website under People Who Need Funding and begin the process of finding partners.

Once we have enough sponsors to cover the project cost, we start to work on delivering the technology and services. As a sponsor, you will get periodic updates on progress and be notified when we’ve completed the project. Remember, no donation is too small. We need your help!

InvoTek takes seriously its role in finding partners to help people with disabilities reach their goals. We’ve set up a third-party panel to review projects before they’re begun to ensure the technology and the services are appropriate for that person. After completion, the panel will review the finished project to make sure donor dollars were used appropriately. For more information on our commitment, please read our accountability statement.
