Seeking the Extraordinary »

Here are some people with severe disabilities who are trying to achieve goals that most of us take for granted -- but are extraordinary accomplishments after having a catastrophic injury.  Please help these deserving people by giving a tax-deductible donation. No gift is too small!

Need a gift idea for a special person who has everything?

Giving a donation to one of the Be Extraordinary folks makes a big difference! We'll send the card on the left to your special friend so that he or she knows that a donation was made in their name.

Billy Arnold

Billy, Tim, Tom and Barret working with AccuPoint[posted 9/2/2011] Billy Arnold is the toughest client we have ever had during our 23 years. It is not because he was a brown-belt, but because after his brain-stem stroke he has so little movement. Learn more about Billy here.

Larry Bell

Larry smiling[posted 7/15/2011] Mr. Bell has a kind heart. It comes out so clearly in how he treats people, the way he speaks, and even his smile. When we showed Larry his video and let him practice with the AccuPoint head tracker, he asked "when do I get to start giving back?" Learn more about Larry here.

Curtis Earley

Curtis Earley and friends[posted 5/25/2011] Mr. Earley is an interesting man with interesting family and friends. We met him a couple of weeks ago and we're still in the process of helping him define his life goal. Mr. Earley wants to help people understand that life after a spinal cord injury is full of opportunity. As his neighbor told us, "some people are alive while others live. This man lives!" Learn more about Curtis here.

Wesley Wilson

[updated 11/13/10] Meet Be Extraordinary client Wesley Wilson! Three people from InvoTek visited Wesley and all we can say is WOW. Wesley and his Emerson, Arkansas community are already extraordinary. You can meet Wes by going to his Be-X page and viewing his video, and by reading about him in our blog.

Khiry Neal

[updated 02/14/11]  Khiry Neal is 16 years old and has a very high spinal cord injury. He is not able to breath on his own. But that doesn't stop him from wanting to finish high school and we can't think of a better Be Extraordinary life goal! Read more about Khiry here.
